In the music industry, if a song is able to stay relevant, decades after it's release, it is considered a classic. this song is no exception. Originally written by John Lennon, this song speaks about censorship and being silenced since youth, and taught that those who are different or speak the truth when they're "out of line" are beaten and cut into shape by higher ups, I can't help but think of the current situation in Latin America, Mexico in particular. Mexico has been a country that since it's beginnings has been a sufferer of this disease known as censorship. And being that a new law has been passed called "la ley de seguridad interior" which allows protests (including peaceful protests) to be met with military response by the government, It's my duty to bring this to light and raise recognition. As always, Enjoy, and remember que no nos quedaremos callados, we will not be silent.
